Maple Body with Trestle Bracing

The Limited Edition 1958 Custom Falcon™ features a 2.75” deep maple body with Trestle Bracing. Originally introduced in 1958, and further refined in 1959, Trestle Bracing utilizes two bridge-shaped struts that span the length of the top and connect to the back of the guitar via four ‘feet’. This bracing system results in added snap and faster note attack, improved sustain, and excellent feedback rejection, all while retaining the fundamental hollow nature of the instrument.

TV Jones Ray Butts Ful-Fidelity Filter’Tron™ Pickups

A faithful reproduction of the original “Ful-Fidelity” Filter’Tron pickups invented by the legendary Ray Butts, these pickups are made according to Ray's personal notes and designs, and TV Jones' extensive multi-decade analysis of original Filter'Tron pickups. They produce a tighter bass response and slightly more top end than modern Filter’Tron pickups, and the absence of wax potting results in a more open, three-dimensional sound with truly unique sparkle and exceptional dynamics.
