The Jet DS begins with a select mahogany body with maple top that produces the signature strong, punchy response that has made the Jet famous. For the Players Edition Jet DS, we chose a 1.85" depth along with vintage chambering to deliver a tighter, more controlled attack that still retains incredible articulation.

DynaSonic™ Pickups: True Power & Fidelity

DynaSonic™ pickups were one of the first pickups created by Gretsch to offer individually adjustable pole-pieces. The DynaSonic bridge and neck pickups complement the Jet DS’s chambered body to produce amplified bright, shimmering highs and a defined, rich bass for distinct tone that cuts through the mix.

While the Build design and the Pickups’ voice work together to produce the entire tonal palette, the Jet DS’s control set lets you tap into that palette, simply and intuitively.

• Individual pickup volume controls for dialing in your tone’s foundation.

• No-load Tone Pot with Squeezebox™ capacitors takes you from smooth, organic vintage feel to full-throttle DynaSonic vibrance at the twist of a knob.

• Master Volume with treble bleed circuit allows you to throttle your amp without sacrificing your dialed-in tone.
