One of the most beautiful Gretsch® guitars ever made—a 1962 ad called it “the ultimate guitar.” The equally beautiful modern version has a double-cutaway hollow body with an arched top, parallel tone bar bracing, oversized bound f holes and gold-sparkle binding. Other features include two-piece maple neck, ebony fingerboard with gold-sparkle binding and Neo-Classic™ thumbnail inlays, V-shaped Falcon™ headstock with gold-sparkle binding and horizontal gold-sparkle Gretsch logo inlay, dual High Sensitive Filter’Tron™ pickups, three-position pickup switch, three-position master tone switch, standby switch, gold plexi pickguard with Falcon motif, gold-plated hardware, Grover® Imperial™ tuners, white back pad, Space Control™ bridge and Bigsby® B6G vibrato tailpiece.
