G6120DSW-R Chet Atkins 1955 RELIC. Gently distressed to feel like
home, your first encounter with its vibrant lacquer finished 3-ply
maple body will surely resonate deep down to your soul. As 1955
brought the world such classic songs as "Rock Around the Clock" &
"Ain't That a Shame," that same year the Gretsch Company produced an
instrument with the same timeless qualities. Recreating the complex
rich tons are a pair of Seymour Duncan® DynaSonic™ pickups
with the string vibrations being transferred via a rosewood based,
aluminum compensated Bigsby® bridge. Not only will the vintage
style Parallel Bracing and Sound Post satisfy sonically, the coolness
factor of the "G" branded body & western motif may surrender you to
just open the case and stare at this US made guitar for hours.
